Floor tiles are hard-wearing, low-maintenance and ideal over underfloor heating. The tiler first checks the surface: it must be level, dry and sound — levelling costs € 10-20 per m² extra and should be named in the quote.
Labour runs € 25 to € 45 per m² for straight work; large-format and patterns such as herringbone sit above that. For a complete job — from a toilet floor to a full living floor — expect € 750 to € 3,500 all in.
Tip for underfloor heating: the tiler uses flexible adhesive and keeps expansion joints. Mention it in your request so the quotes account for it right away.
